With the development of urban modernization,the tram has won a place in urban rail transit construction because of its moderate passenger capacity,friendly environment and low construction cost.However,the existing tram on-board operation control system has some problems,such as low intelligence,inadequate streamlining of rail-side equipment and too much manual participation.Therefore,it is particularly important to propose a tram train operation control system suitable for the actual operation of trams.As a significant part of train control system,the ATO(Automatic Train Operation)subsystem can effectively reduce the driver's working intensity and improve the intelligent level of tram train control system.The research and development of this system has positive effects for the development of modern trams.The system designed in this thesis mainly consists of human-computer interaction module,data communication module and system logic module.Human-computer interaction module includes human-computer interaction interface unit and passenger information updating unit.This module provides image and voice prompts by continuously collecting real-time information of monitoring center,station,turnout and intersection,so as to assist drivers to drive and be convenient for passengers,and it can also facilitate drivers to monitor and drive the trams through the button to realize speed control,parking and departure and switching control modes.Data communication module includes two parts: data communication and data storage.Data communication mainly includes the design of communication protocol and communication service module based on TCP/IP protocol and UDP protocol.Data storage unit mainly includes train basic information configuration files and database tables.Through the data communication module,the functions of sending messages group framing and de-framing,information configuration and information storage can be accomplished.The system logic module realizes the basic functions of ATO subsystem.The module realizes self-adaptive speed control,precise parking and automatic departure of trains by transmitting information from ATP subsystem,current positioning,real-time speed and basic vehicle information.In addition.Experiments in G-proportional sand table model show that the whole system has good human-computer interaction function,and it can automatically complete the selection and switching of operation mode,moreover,it can automatically adjust the speed according to the state of ground equipment to achieve safety tracking,parking and departure and other functions,which meets the operation needs of modern trams.The thesis completes the function design of ATO subsystem of the tram and thesoftware of on-board operation control system through the analysis of manual driving process.The sand table simulation and verification shows that the loading of ATO subsystem can replace the driver in basic operation,and reduce the driver's burden to a certain extent,and provide a reference for the development of modern tram on-board operation control system in the propulsion process of urban traffic unmanned driving.
