Centrifugal pump is widely used as a special pump.However,due to its harsh working environment,frequent failures and high development costs of existing monitoring systems,in order to reduce the major losses caused by centrifugal pump failures,it is convenient for on-site staff to diagnose in time.Discovering and eliminating centrifugal pump failures,it is necessary to monitor the centrifugal pump and its working environment.Monitoring centrifugal pump has important economic value and practical significance.Moreover,with the development of technologies in the fields of virtual instrument technology,sensor technology,fieldbus technology and embedded technology,centrifugal pump monitoring system is also gradually developing in the direction of high precision,automation,intelligence and so on.On the basis of studying the research status of centrifugal pump monitoring system at home and abroad,this paper designs a centrifugal pump monitoring system based on LabVIEW and STM32 for the problems of high development cost,no real-time monitoring,poor reliability and so on.The system mainly monitors centrifugal pump vibration,noise,installation plane inclination,inlet and outlet water temperature,water depth of suction tank and wind speed of working environment.When the system sensor fails or the sensor collection exceeds the threshold,the system sends an alarm in time.Firstly,according to the working principle of centrifugal pump,the paper analyzes the cavitation phenomenon of centrifugal pump easily,and then determines the monitoring parameters of the system according to the bad working environment of centrifugal pump.In order to realize the real-time monitoring of the system,the mode of cooperation between the lower computer and the above monitoring system is put forward.The communication is carried out by using RS485 serial bus and Modbus RTU protocol.By analyzing the functional requirements of the centrifugal pump monitoring system,the overall design scheme of the centrifugal pump monitoring system is given,and the feasibility of the monitoring system is analyzed from the aspects of hardware and software.In addition,the key technology RS485 bus technology and Modbus protocol used in system communication are introduced in detail.Secondly,the monitoring system is designed from the aspects of hardware and software.In terms of hardware,according to the performance index of sensor selection and the requirement of centrifugal pump monitoring system,the sensor parameters needed forthe monitoring system are selected.The controller module takes the STM32F103C8T6 minimum system as the core,and designs the hardware circuits of the power supply module,the data acquisition module and the RS485 communication module respectively.In terms of software,the lower computer uses the C language library function and the Keil uVision4 development environment to design the main program of the monitoring system,ADC data acquisition,Modbus protocol,RS485 communication and fault alarm program.The host computer designed the system through the powerful functions of the LabVIEW software platform.Programs such as login,communication module,real-time dynamic display of signal acquisition,fault alarm and signal storage,etc.,and design the system operation interface.Finally,the software and hardware of the designed monitoring system are debugged in the laboratory,and the verification system can perform data acquisition.The accuracy of data acquisition,the performance of fault alarm and the stability of the system are tested by building a test bench for monitoring system.The accuracy of the system is compared with the data collected by the system and other data acquisition boards and traditional instruments.The fault alarm is tested by setting the sensor threshold lower than the measured value.The stability test of the system allows the system to run continuously for a whole day and to observe the operation status of the system on a regular basis.The experiment shows that the measured value of the monitoring system is close to the actual value,and the alarm function of the system is good.The system can accurately collect data and run stably,which can meet the demand of the actual monitoring of centrifugal pump.
