Building Rural Signage System Based On Regional Culture

Nowadays,the research area of rural revitalization focuses on rural tourism and the utilization of rural regional characteristics as well as their relationship with village culture.It eventually turns to an important way for learning the region that can present its local cultural characteristics rapidly and efficiently.Due to the lack of research on regional characteristics and cultural presentation in the current signage system,the current status of the design and use of rural signage system is reported.A field study was carried out in the villages that needed to be designed.Lately,countryside has attracted unprecedentedly intense attention,and the rural development presents an explosive scale.However,the corresponding research is still insufficient.The majority is in the stage of tokenism.In particular,the theoretical research of the rural signage system is still at its infancy.This study combines several theories,pointing out the theoretical path for the signage guide system.Through the exploration of regional culture,the combination of distinctive cultural characteristics and humanistic care of signage design,which highlights the regional cultural charm and regional characteristics,has a practical importance to guide the development of the rural signage system.Audience could be led to experience the regional cultural information in the signage system,which is conducive to enriching the information connection between the human and the public rural environment.In the public rural environment,the regional culture is presented through the signage system design,and the regional landscape is well protected and its image is improved.From the perspective of regional culture,practical guidance is given to the rural signage design system to maintain the positiveness of the rural regional culture and maintain its sustainability.The rural signage design should reflect the spatial state,scale,layout and the cultural material mining,refinement,expression and the atmosphere creation,analyze the current issues,and give suggestions for further optimization.It has theoretical and practical guiding significance for the cultivation of the current rural signage system.Through the research on the knowledge points,the design case of the signage system of the Doumu township in Qianshan City,Anqing City,Anhui Province was combined.Expound the important guiding role of regional culture in the design of signage.The principles and basic methods of rural signage design are proposed.Via the refinement of the theory of regional culture and guide design,a set of rural signage design system with strategic planning priority and visual design is presented.According to the requirements of the planning,extracting culture elements,and taking the Doumu ancient pottery and pine twigs as the main cultural context to complete the design of the identification system and the signage system for the visual image.
