| Water is the source of life and one of the most important and indispensable material resources for human survival and development.Water supply system is an important part of urban infrastructure.Urban water supply security is not only related to the health and life safety of residents,but also to economic development and social stability.It is also an inevitable requirement for a good living environment.Huadu District is the"North Gate"of Guangzhou City.It is in a period of rapid development.With the rapid economic development,population gathering and living improvement,it puts forward higher requirements for urban water supply security.This paper analyses the current situation of urban water supply security and the change and development trend of drinking water quality standards at home and abroad,investigates the economic and social development of Huadu District and the operation status of water supply system,and studies the main problems existing in the water supply system of Huadu District and the Countermeasures for water supply security from the aspects of water source,water plant,pipeline network and management.The main contents and results of this study are as follows:(1)The safety of urban water supply in Huadu District has many problems,such as single water source,serious water pollution,insufficient capacity of local waterworks,old water supply network and relatively low level of information management.According to the forecast,the water supply gap in 2020,2025 and 2030 will reach 128,500 m~3/d,334,000 m~3/d and 528,000 m~3/d respectively.(2)By adjusting and optimizing the distribution of water supply sources,establishing emergency standby water sources,and connecting the water supply network of the central city with the introduction of water purification of the Xijiang River 150,000 m~3/d,the tension of water supply in Huadu District has been greatly alleviated.(3)Through the revamping of sewage treatment plants/stations,about 65 km of sewage pipe network has been added to improve the sewage collection rate;the water quality of rivers such as Liuxi River and Baini River has been greatly improved,and the source of drinking water in Huadu section of Liuxi River in 2018 has reached or surpassed the Class III standard of Surface Water Environmental Quality Standard(GB 3838-2002).(4)The new biological pretreatment system was constructed by"suspended filler biological contact oxidation tank"process in Dongbu Waterworks and Shijiao Waterworks,which effectively improved the quality of the effluent.(5)The investment of about 610 million yuan in water supply network construction is about 47km,which effectively improves the problems of old and unbalanced water supply in the area;improves the SCADA system and GIS system of urban water supply network,gradually forms a real-time and online integrated data management platform,and evidently improves the level of water supply information management.(6)The practice of diverting water from overseas and other water supply systems in Huadu District provides a reference for similar cities. |
