With the rapid development of BIM technology,there are more and more application of BIM technology in the design,construction and maintenance of bridge engineering.At present,BIM has already applied effectively in the design clash detection,construction organization simulation,budget estimation and construction information management of bridge engineering.BIM countries,individual industries and local standards has been introduced.BIM has gradually become a necessary tool in the construction of bridge engineering.BIM's various tools have also developed with the development of the industry,from customized development to diversified tool applications.Based on this situation,the BIM models have achieved many useful attempts and explorations in virtual construction,cost management,construction simulation,construction period information management platform,and management intelligence.However,there are still some problems in BIM that have not been well solved.For example,how the BIM design of the temporary structure during the construction phase can meet the construction needs.How to use the BIM model in the design stage to perform preliminary condition checking on some preliminary design conditions and calculations,and then to quickly adjust reasonable parameters;how to use the BIM structure for fast finite element operations,and to meet the current computing habits of engineers.These are the issues to be solved in the BIM industry.In conclusion,there is an urgent need for a realistic BIM-based design integration solution in the bridge engineering.Based on the BIM modeling software and the finite element calculation tools commonly used in the design stage,this paper proposes a BIM-based design integration solution,and takes the steel cofferdam as an example to test and verify the BIM design application potential of the temporary structure.Based on the comparative analysis of each BIM modeling software,the parametric design of temporary structure of bridge construction was carried out,and the parameterized steel tube pile cofferdam BIM model was established.Based on the secondary development tool of BIM modeling software,BIM-based parameterization design and fast structural verification study was carried out.Based on the 3D bar system finite element analysis software,two-dimensional simple analysis software and 3D general finite element analysis software commonly used in bridge design,the solutions that can be realized by common BIM modeling software are proposed and the advantages and disadvantages of each scheme are compared.The BIM design integrated solution proposed in this paper carries out the design verification of the steel pipe pile cofferdam in the marine environment,and compares and analyzes the special working conditions with general working conditions of the steel pipe pile cofferdam under the marine environment.The above research verifies the effectiveness and application potential of BIM parametric modeling applied to the construction structure;the secondary development tools based on BIM can effectively replace the hand calculation part in the design process,and quickly judge whether the parameters used can fit the calculation;The solution can transform the BIM model into the required model of each computing software.Throught verification,the accuracy meets the calculation requirements and can be fully integrated into the existing work habits of the bridge designer.From the modeling-finite element calculation(secondary development fast calculation,rod system,two-dimensional simple calculation tool,three-dimensional universal finite element calculation tool)-the complete BIM-based design integration solution for outputting drawings and attribute information have achieved.
