Traffic congestion and air pollution,as the typical "urban diseases" in the new era,have been lacking of effective environmental governance.in the report on the coordinated development of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei,President xi jinping pointed out: "the traffic congestion problem in many cities stems from the lack of public transport.We should vigorously develop public transport,and form a transport system with large capacity public transport and small capacity private transport complementing each other." as a typical representative of largecapacity public transportation,Rail transit has significant advantages in punctuality,speed,comfort,safety and low pollution.However,the distance of the rail transit station is large,and the density of the line network is much smaller than that of the conventional bus.This results in low coverage and accessibility.reasonable connection with other modes of transport are needed to ensure the reasonable distribution of passenger flow,so as to effectively solve the city residents travel "the last kilometer" problem.Slow traffic represented by walking and cycling has the natural advantages of low carbon,environmental protection and high accessibility,and can form a good complementary relationship with rail transit.The reasonable and effective connection between the two is of great significance to solve the problem of "travel difficulty" of urban residents.This paper makes an in-depth analysis of the connection process,connection mode characteristics and influencing factors of urban rail transit based on the travel chain,and leads to the innate complementary advantages of the connection of slow traffic represented by walking and cycling and rail transit in solving the "last kilometer" of urban residents' travel.The orthogonal design method was used to design the SP situation combination under the conditions of walking travel environment and bicycle travel environment.The RP/SP survey method was used to design the survey plan reasonably,and the 12 track sites in Xi'an were carried out in the field.Questionnaire survey conducted a preliminary analysis of the valid sample data from the characteristics of personal attributes,travel attributes and typical connection combination patterns.Combined with the non-aggregate model,stochastic utility theory and multiple Logit models,the rail transit connection selection behavior model is established.The accuracy,sensitivity and results of the model are analyzed,The significant influencing factors of walking and bicycle and rail transit connections were obtained respectively,and the optimization of the slow-connecting environment of the orbital stations was studied in combination with other significant influencing factors.Finally,taking the North Street subway station as an example,combined with the actual investigation,the problems of the slow connection environment around the North Street subway station are summarized.The slow traffic network planning and design was carried out,and relevant suggestions for the improvement of the slow-connecting environment were given.At present,there are few studies on the connection between slow traffic and urban rail transit.This paper analyzes and studies the connection characteristics,connection behavior,connection influencing factors and slow connection environment optimization of the two,hoping to provide some theoretical and practical support for the improvement of the slow connection environment and the slow traffic planning around the rail transit station,thus guiding the urban residents to form a green and healthy travel mode of “slow traffic + rail transit”.
