With the challenge of high-rise buildings to new heights and the enrichment of building forms,enterprises and employers have higher and higher requirements for the performance of window cleaners.Rough window cleaners have been unable to meet the requirements of the market.The precise design of window cleaner has become the main subject of the current research and development of window cleaner.The main components of window cleaner are composed of telescopic arm which provides working platform,counterweight which guarantees the stability of window cleaner,pillar which bears telescopic arm,chassis which enlarges working range,etc.Among them,telescopic arm is an important working part of window cleaner.Its own working performance and self-weight play a decisive role in the performance of window cleaner.In this paper,the mechanical properties of the telescopic arm,an important load-bearing component of the motor-driven straight arm window cleaner,are analyzed.Based on the existing theory,the structure of telescopic boom is optimized,and a new concept of hexagonal section telescopic boom is proposed.Then,according to the revised version of the European Standard and the new national standard of window cleaner,the structural mechanics model of the hexagonal section telescopic arm is established,and its structural mechanics characteristics under typical working conditions are obtained,and then the size parameters of the hexagonal section are determined.With the powerful modeling function of the large simulation software SOLIDWORKS,the parameterization of the new telescopic arm is realized,and the corresponding parts model library of window cleaning machine is established.Then parts are assembled automatically to form parts and the whole machine.The complex and diverse parts of telescopic arm correspond to different parts database,and the database size is used to drive various window cleaner models.Then the force analysis and theoretical calculation of the telescopic arm of the new window cleaner under four load conditions are carried out respectively,and the relevantsimplified model is established.Static analysis of the model is made,and the validity of the telescopic arm is verified by comparing the analysis results with the theoretical calculus.On the basis of the existing computer software,combined with the structural characteristics of window cleaner and market demand,the related design work of the new telescopic arm has been completed,which greatly improves the working performance of the telescopic arm,provides an effective reference for the design and development of related products,and provides a certain reference for the optimization of similar products.
