With the development of yacht's material, a plenty of new-type yachts are designed to achieve the requirements of high speed of yacht. However, the limitation of calculation method for the structural strength could not catch up with the requirements of designs and markets. The FEA, which is a common calculated method for ship's structural strength, can be the best choice to analyze FRP yacht. The advanced technology requires designers'advanced special knowledge and plenty of time on building and improving finite element model and there are also some other problems during the process, such as complex process, fallible, time-consuming. What we need to do is find a more efficient way. In this article we link the thoughts of parameter to the FEA to rebuild and adjust analysis model.Firstly, we took advantage of typical laminated theory to analyze the relationship between stress-strain and FRP lamination, and then observed the stress-strain relationship between FRP sandwich structure and Reissner theory. According to the characters of FRP materials, we chose ANSYS which has special lamination to simulate FRP lamination and sandwich and compared the results of calculation and experiments.Secondly, we designed a new type FEA software which is based on ANSYS to analyze the strength parameter of FRP yacht. This software, with ANSYS and APDL, did analysis model and then achieved the digital exchanges between system and ANSYS with the help of VB NET. All of these processes could make the FRP yacht analysis more efficient, convenient and more practically valuable. At last we take 64'FRP yacht for example to calculate and analyze the hole cabin, cabin without hole, bottom plane profile plane. The results suggest that the analysis matches well with the yacht's actual situation. So this system will be well applied in practice.
