The regional communication network has become a hot research topic in modern military communication duo to its advanced technology and excellent operation performance.The network simulation platform is a key tool for filed communication network testing and research.Although the existing network simulation software has a strong comprehensive performance,the simulation adaptability of the regional communication network is not high because of the high system integration,complex structure,the serious solidification of the model and the low efficiency in the large-scale network simulation scene.This thesis combines the existing network model basis(e.g.,network nodes,network links and transmission channels)analog network communication process as well as designs and implements a field communication network simulation platform based on discrete event systems.The main procedure of design and implement of this paper as follows:1.In order to solve the problems existing in the simulation of the existing network simulation platform in the regional communication network.This thesis design a simulation platform of the regional communication network with high cohesion and low coupling method which can enhance the scalability and flexibility of the simulation platform.In order to meet the needs of large-scale network simulation scenarios,the simulation platform is designed by C/S architecture.It is also lays the foundation for large-scale simulation of cloud computing platform.The overall design of the platform includes client and server.The client mainly configures the network simulation scenario and businesses,and the processing of the simulation data returned by the server.The server is the core part of the simulation platform,the logic and computation of the network simulation are focused on the server of the simulation platform.The server uses the simulation strategy of discrete event scheduling to realize the simulation of the regional communication network,and the simulation results are returned to the client through the data interface.2.According to the structure and characteristics of the regional communication network,this thesis realize the modeling of the backbone nodes,network nodes,transmission channels and random network topology of the regional communication network based on the existing network models.The simulation platform of the regional communication network has been designed according to the overall design scheme of the simulation platform and the establishment of the regional communication network model.Functional modules and network model has been implemented based on Java language programming.3.In order to test the effectiveness of simulation platform,the performance of the field communication network simulation platform is tested with DSR routing protocol as an example.The simulation results are all in line with the expectation.The simulation results are compared with the OPNET network simulation platform,and the comparison results has proved the effectiveness of the simulation platform simulation results.
