| As the last link in power system,distribution network affects the security,reliability and economy of power supply.It is very important to locate fault accurately and quickly in the distribution network.Because of the structural difference between distribution network and transmission grid,the traditional fault location method applied to transmission network is not all applicable to distribution networks,which presents a higher challenge to the fault location of distribution network.At present,it has developed a high cost-effective synchronous phasor measurement unit(PMU)for distribution network,which has opened up a new way for fault location.In order to realize the advantages of wide-area measurement system(WAMS),it is the future development trend to realize the fault location of distribution network line by using the multi-point fault information.In this paper,a new method based on improved BPSO algorithm is proposed for PMU optimization allocation in distribution network,aiming at the whole network node observable.The results of the numerical examples show that the proposed method can improve the measurement redundancy to a certain extent when ensuring the optimal number of PMU configurations.Then,the fuzzy clustering algorithm is used to judge the fault section.This paper extracts a plurality of fault information to fuse so that each fault characteristic index can be restricted to display the fault information,which has certain advantage.Finally,a new method based on multi-point PMU data to realize fault location of distribution network is proposed.This method realizes the fault location by the relation of multiple fault locating indexes,and proves the accuracy and validity of the method by PSCAD/EMTDC simulation. |
