Design And Verification On Comprehensive Test Bench For Auto Combined Switch

The auto combined switch on research and production was relatively late and insufficient in China,and development ability was also weak.Production line and testing equipment was more traditional,and operated by human widely.All of that,which had restricted the development of combined switch seriously.Zhejiang Wanchao Electric Appliance Co.,Ltd.is a domestic typical supplier for auto combined switch,which was much manual operation in production and testing,and lacked of stability and consistency.Meanwhile,in East China,the increasing cost of labor and shortage of workers by periodic may lead to higher pressure for the survival and development of company.So,the combined switch suppliers need automatic promotion on facilities of production and testing urgently.In this paper,the test bench for function of combined switch was redesigned,as the demand of equipment reformation in Wanchao.The test bench contained the visual inspection,functional testing and error-proofing system.The visual inspection system was added in the character detection of combined switch.At the same time,some common error proofing methods was summarized and used.And the mechanical arms were adopted by functional detecting.With the demand of appearance inspection system,the MV-130 UC color industrial camera and the lens,the annular source were chosen as key parts of the visual inspection system.The corresponding arrangement,fixture,and the type and driving mode of shading door were also designed.In the project of functional testing,the target will be got by operating switch handle with manual twisting motion and mechanical toggle motion.And in this mechanical system,mechanical arm runs based on ballscrew drived by Mitsubishi servo motor,and gripper runs by using SMC MHY2 cylinder.Otherwise,there are a lot of error proofing methods used in the whole testing system,including error proofing for fixture,for permanent marking,tag and bar code scan,and the error proofing for isolation of suspected parts.Finally,the expected function for each module of prototype was tested and verified,and in order to elevate the automation,stability,and reliability of detection,this prototype will be put into production in future.
