Because the density of GFRP/PUR sandwich plate is less than steel clamp plate,at the same time,it has higher stiffness and strength.It can be applied to the superstructure of ships,cabin bulkhead and other protective structures.it is hoped that the quality will be reduced while maximizing its anti-penetration,the ship will be lighter than before while ensuring the safety of the protection.The anti-penetration of GFRP/PUR sandwich plate was studied by this essay.First of all,the background and significance of the penetration effect of sandwich structure are understood by referring to relevant literatures,and the current research status of the penetration effect in the field of sandwich plate is introduced.The main research contents and methods are as follows:(1)Quasi-static mechanical properties of GFRP panels and PUR core materials.The quasi-static tensile and compression experiment of GFRP panel and the experimental scheme of quasi-static tensile and poisson's ratio determination of PUR core material are designed.The yield strength,elastic modulus and other parameters of the panel and core material were obtained through experiments,which provided the basis for the subsequent simulation.(2)Experimental study on dynamic compression mechanical properties of GFRP panel and PUR core.Dynamic compression experiments were carried out on the GFRP and PUR material by using the Hopkinson compression bar experimental device(SHPB),It was found that both GFRP and PUR material were strain rate-sensitive materials,and the yield strength increased with the increase of strain rate.The strain rate parameters C and P are 1420 and 0.542 respectively.The strain rate parameters C and P of polyurethane elastomer are 4000.6 and 0.617.(3)Experimental study of target plate penetration.The relevant penetration experiment scheme is designed and proposed.Using the penetrating experiments device are carried out for the single-layer GFRP plates,single PUR plates,GFRP and PUR composite plates and PUR casting directly on the GFRP.The fracture morphology of the target plate was compared.The failure mechanism of the target plate was analyzed.The result shows that the penetration effect of flat head projectile is better.(4)Research on the correctness of numerical simulation method.Based on LS-DYNA finite element software,the penetration experiment process and failure mode of some target plates are simulated,and the correctness of the numerical simulation method in this paper is proved.(5)Research on penetration resistance of sandwich plates with different thickness ratio and different layout.Finite element software ANSYS/LS-DYNA was used to ensure the model and parameters of the oblique rib GFRP/PUR sandwich plate model.By using numerical simulation calculation of sandwich plates with different thickness ratios and different layout forms,and the optimal elastic resistance forms of sandwich plates with different thickness ratios and different layout forms are determined from the perspective of residual velocity.At the same time,the penetration resistance and efficiency of the sandwich plate were analyzed from the Angle of specific energy absorption and specific ballistic limit velocity,and The results show that the elastic strength of sandwich plate is positively correlated with the thickness of GFRP and PUR,but the penetration resistance efficiency of the sandwich plate decreased.According to the comparison of the specific ballistic limit velocity with the steel,it is concluded that the sandwich plate used in this paper has more practical penetration effect than the steel plate.
