In recent years,the ship diesel engine has developed towards a high burst pressure,which puts higher requirements on the structural strength of the diesel engine.The finite element method can calculate and analyze the structural strength of the product during the product development stage,so the finite element calculation analysis is of great significance for the development of diesel engine products.The research object of this paper is a 16-cylinder V-type marine four-stroke diesel engine body,which uses finite element to analyze its structural strength and provides an evaluation for product design and development.This paper mainly carried out the following research work: the dynamics calculation program is used to solve the mechanical load,and the load boundary conditions are provided for the structural strength analysis of the body;The pre-tightening condition and the outburst condition were selected to calculate the static strength of the body,and the stress and strain of the body under the corresponding working conditions were obtained;The fatigue life analysis and calculation of the diesel engine body was carried out,and the safety factor distribution of the whole body was calculated;The modal calculation of the diesel engine body is carried out,and the natural frequency and vibration mode of the whole body are calculated.Finally,the stiffness and resonance risk of the body are evaluated.The static calculation results show that the cylinder head bolt hole,the main bearing thread hole and the process roundness have different degrees of stress concentration,but the Mises stress does not exceed the material yield limit.The fatigue life calculation results show that the safety factor of all positions of the rated working condition is above 1.2,which basically meets the fatigue life design requirements.The vibration mode calculation results show that there is a risk of resonance under the rated working condition of the body,and the structure of the body needs to be optimized.
