As an energy-saving light source,ultra-high pressure mercury lamp has the advantages of high luminous efficiency and long life,and is widely used in searchlights,stage beam lamps and projectors.Ultra-high pressure mercury lamp arc discharge is a fairly complicated physical process,and its key problems such as starting process,negative resistance characteristic,acoustic resonance phenomenon,light output characteristics and temperature characteristics can be solved and realized by ballast,so the electrons are The study of ballasts is of great significance.In this paper,the design method of conventional three-stage electronic ballast is adopted.The main research contents include BUCK conversion circuit,full-bridge inverter circuit and LC resonance circuit.Among them,the BUCK circuit uses constant power control to control the output power of the ballast.The full-bridge inverter circuit is used in the startup phase to form a resonance with the LC resonant circuit,generating the ignition high voltage required for the lamp to start,and is used to generate the desired waveform of the bulb after entering the stable working phase.Firstly,the working principle and working characteristics of ultra-high pressure mercury lamp are expounded and analyzed,and then the design of electronic ballast is cut into,then the whole ballast is analyzed and designed,and the main circuit is designed.And selection.Then the circuit is modeled and simulated,and the control strategy of the system is studied and analyzed.Based on this,a prototype platform was built,and the design was realized by a combination of software and hardware.Finally,a series of experiments were carried out using the prototype.The experiment shows that the electronic ballast achieves the performance of actual demand,which shows that the design analysis is correct and feasible,and has high practical value.
