MCCB is a very important source of protection in circuit networks.The traditional MCCB usually use hot metal deformation as protection measures,but it is difficult to achieve overload,long delay and instantaneous protection of three protection functions.In addition,the intelligent MCCB can also realize the functions of adjusting the phase,imbalance protection and process data monitoring.As a microprocessor,STM32 core board can perform many functions,such as human-computer interaction,remote monitoring and self-diagnosis.In this paper,a permanent magnet mechanism are used to realize opening and closing of the intelligent MCCB control system.It can meet the current management requirements of the circuit system to a large extent.The main contents of this paper include the following aspects:(1)The composition and working principle of permanent magnet actuator are introduced.Based on the theory of electromagnetic induction,mechanics and thermodynamics,the magnetic field distribution,static characteristics and dynamic characteristics of permanent magnet mechanism are studied.(2)The intelligent controller which use chip of STM32 interconnection type as the center is studied,including the design of each hardware module of the intelligent controller.At the same time,some researches aims at the upper monitor that realize centralized control,including the communication between the intelligent controller and the upper monitor and its software system.The upper monitor allows users to learn the protected measures and fault information.(3)According to the requirements of circuit protection,the various parameters and their calculation methods in the circuit are analyzed,and then the reasonable parameters are selected for sampling and processing and various protection functions of circuit breakers and their intelligent implementation methods are studied.This article also analyzes the various interferences that may appear during the operation of circuit breakers and details which the anti-interference measures of various software and hardware used inthis project.(4)The working status of the circuit breaker has been tested with MSGK-E switch dynamic tester as the host computer,including the opening and closing speed,the largest opening and closing speed and the relevant current value,meanwhile,referring to the anti-aging curve of the circuit breaker in IEC standard,the test results are analyzed.The results show that the intelligent circuit breaker based on STM32 core board adopts permanent magnet mechanism and various protection algorithms,which is more accurate,stable and more versatile than the traditional breakers,and it is a more reliable protection to circuit network.
