As a new technical route,compared with conventional electric vehicles,extended-range electric vehicle not only extends the mileage of the electric vehicle,but protects the battery.However,excellent simulation softwares are almost monopolized by foreign countries,so it is necessary to develop a simulation software which suits own characteristics.In view of this,based on extended-range electric vehicle development program of advanced Technology Research Department of SAIC Motor Corporation Limited.First of all,according to the characteristics of forward simulation and backward simulation,we choose forward simulation as the modeling idea,and by using MATLAB/Simulink,build models of E-REV,including driver model,engine model,generator model,power battery model,transmission model,final drive model,and so on.Secondly,based on the analysis of the extended-range electric vehicle control strategy,in MATLAB/Simulink,the mode switching control strategy model and the APU control strategy model of the extended-range electric vehicle are established.Thirdly,choosing the GUI graphical interface tool in MATLAB to program the interface of the simulation software for extended-range electric vehicle,setting up the layout of the software interface,and the key point is the programming of the callback function of different buttons in each interface of the software,including function buttons,control buttons,popup menus and so on,and software programming.At last,analyzed the result.The simulation results of developed software compare with the experimental data to verify the validity and practicability of software.
