Expressway has the characteristics and advantages of high speed,large volume,wide radiation,large coverage and low transportation cost.The rapid growth of expressway industry in recent years reflects the continuous improvement of China's comprehensive national strength and the vigorous development of social economy,but the problem of expressway traffic accidents has also become increasingly prominent.At present,China's expressway traffic safety situation and management status quo is not optimistic,so the in-depth research and analysis of expressway traffic accidents and its influencing factors have strong practical significance and theoretical value.This paper takes all the traffic accidents that occurred during the period from July 2015 to April 2017 in a certain section of the expressway in China as research subject,and aims to guide traffic accident prevention,on-site disposal work and reduce the loss of personnel and property.Based on the basic theory of expressway traffic safety and the related theory of accident prevention,using statistical analysis method,road profile buffer analysis method,nuclear density estimation method and binary logistic regression analysis method to analysis the regularity of the time distribution,spatial distribution of the traffic accidents and correlation analysis of relevant influencing factors on the expressways under study.Therefore,the specific rules and characteristics of the time distribution and spatial distribution of traffic accidents are obtained,and the significant influencing factors of the seriousness of traffic accidents on the expressway are determined.Furthermore,based on all the research conclusions of this paper,combined with the author's actual work experience and the high incidence period of months,time periods and road sections of the expressway traffic accidents studied,as well as different weather conditions,road surface conditions,lighting conditions,vehicle types,accident patterns and traffic behaviors,to propose the targeted,scientific and effective accident prevention measures and measures for on-site disposal work,and formulate corresponding patrol management and control strategies,so as to provide research experience and theoretical basis for reducing accident rate and accident severity of the expressway.Through the research in this paper,it can positively influence the improvement of road traffic safety situation of the expressways in the region,and provide theoretical basis for improving the level of expressway management and decision-making.At the same time,it can also provide research experience and theoretical reference for be the other detachments,brigades of this unit and other relevant cooperative units,and promote crossdepartmental joint action,communication and cooperation,and then jointly take a series of comprehensive measures to achieve a fundamental improvement in expressway traffic safety.
