Analysis Of Industrial Structure Evolution, Economic Growth And Energy Consumption In Guangxi Based On Panel Measurement Model

Energy is the source of economic growth for a country Economic sustainable development is inseparable from the support of energy.Since the reform and opening up,the rapid development of China's economy has been accompanied by a sharp increase in energy consumption,but the rapid growth of energy consumption has made environmental pollution and energy shortages increasingly acute.For a long time to come,the main problem facing China's energy is still the social and economic problems related to energy conservation and emission reduction.And only by ensuring the sustainable development of energy can China's economy develop sustainably.As a strategic place for economic and trade between China and Southeast Asia,Guangxi's economy requires not only rapid growth but also long-term sustainable development.However,the long-term “extensive” economic growth mode not only consumes a lot of energy,but also has low economic benefits,which hinders the sustainable development of Guangxi's economy.In order to coordinate the development of various industries and achieve sustainable economic development,we must optimize and upgrade the industrial structure and change the economic growth mode of Guangxi.The process of continuously adjusting the industrial structure to adapt to the economic development of Guangxi has formed the evolution of industrial structure in Guangxi.With the continuous changes in the industrial structure of Guangxi,the economic growth pattern of Guangxi is also constantly changing.What is the impact on Guangxi's energy consumption? This article studies the impact of industrial structure evolution indicators and economic growth indicators on energy consumption in Guangxi.Based on the statistical data of 14 prefecture-level cities in Guangxi from 2010 to 2016,this paper uses literature analysis,theory and empirical methods to study the relationship between industrial structure evolution,economic growth and energy consumption in Guangxi.Firstly,the article analyzes the current situation of industrial structure evolution,economic growth and energy consumption in Guangxi from 2010 to 2016.The results show that Guangxi's economy is growing rapidly,the regional GDP index is higher than the national GDP index,and the economic development is better.The development of industrial structure in Guangxi is evolving along the dominant position of the first,second and third industries,and the industrial structure is evolving from a low level to a high level.As the total energy consumption continues to increase and GDP continues to grow,it is believed that economic growth is inextricably linked to theincrease in energy consumption.Under the pull of the tertiary industry in Guangxi,the rate of energy consumption is slowly decreasing.The panel measurement analysis method reveals the relationship between industrial structure evolution,economic growth and energy consumption in Guangxi.The research results show that there is a cointegration relationship between industrial structure evolution,economic growth and energy consumption.And economic growth is a one-way cause of energy consumption.There is no significant causal relationship between industrial structure evolution and energy consumption.However,considering the short sample interval,a fixed effect variable intercept model is established for the growth of energy consumption in Guangxi with the industrial structure evolution index and economic growth index as the dependent variables.There are two suggestions based on the model.First,while adapting to the economic development of Guangxi,we should maximize the proportion of the tertiary industry,that reduce the dependence of economic growth on energy consumption and create the greatest economic growth with the least energy consumption.Second,the municipalities should use administrative means and economic means to reduce the demand for energy,so as to ensure the healthy and sustainable development of Guangxi's economy.
