| Hub bearing is an important part that affects the safety of the car.The sealing performance is directly related to the service life of the hub bearing.The failure of most hub bearings is related to the failure of the sealing structure.Various OEMs and major hub bearing manufacturers at home and abroad attached great importance to the bearing test of the hub bearing.The hub bearing seal test needed to simulate the car to run continuously or stop in the slurry environment.The slurry was an important test environment medium and had strict matching requirements.The deposition of slurry during the pipeline transportation of the testing machine would cause the slurry concentration to deviate from the specified ratio during the test,which will affect the effectiveness of the bearing test of the hub bearing and the authenticity of the test results.In the study of this topic,numerical simulation and experiment were carried out to study the deposition amount of pipe slurry particles in the single-sealing test of automobile wheel bearing.The main work and achievements were as follows:(1)According to the dispersibility of the particle size of the solid phase particles in the slurry,the particle size distribution of the slurry particles was analyzed,and the slurry particles were simplified into ten kinds of spherical particles with different particle sizes.(2)The numerical simulation method of the sediment volume of pipeline slurry is discussed,and the calculation method of the slurry particle deposition amount in the pipeline is proposed.Taking a horizontal straight pipe as an example,the numerical simulation of the horizontal straight pipe slurry transport process is carried out to calculate the sediment amount of the slurry particles in the horizontal straight pipe,and the influence of the slurry flow rate on the sedimentation of the slurry particles with different particle sizes in the horizontal straight pipe.and particle size distribution of slurry particles were studied(3)For the slurry input pipe of the slurry bearing conveying system of the hub bearing seal ring,the numerical simulation of the slurry conveying process is carried out to calculate the deposition amount of the slurry particles in the slurry input pipe,and the slurry flow rate is studied for the slurry particles of different particle sizes in the pipeline and the influence of the deposition amount and the particle size distribution of the slurry particles.(4)Design experiments to measure the deposition of slurry particles in the slurry input pipe of the hub bearing single seal tester under different slurry flow rates,study the influence of slurry flow on the sediment amount,and compare with the numerical simulation results to verify the slurry particle deposition amount in the pipeline and the effectiveness of the numerical simulation method.The research results of slurry particle deposition in the process of slurry transportation can guide the control of the slurry particle input in the test,and ensure that the slurry ratio of the hub bearing seal ring monomer test environment meets the established requirements,so that the test results are more effectiveness. |
