Cable-stayed bridges are more and more widely used in modern bridges. It is an important subject to be studied in the field of bridge engineering to ensure the safety of structures during their operation period. In cable-stayed bridges, cables are one of the most important stress components. It is of great practical significance to study the correlation degree between cables for evaluating the working status of cables.Taking Jinghe Bridge around Lake Road in East-West Lake District of Wuhan City,Hubei Province as the background project, this paper compares the unknown load coefficient method with the actual monitoring of cable forces, uses Midas Civil to establish a model for finite element analysis, and uses grey correlation coefficient theory to study the correlation degree between cables and the evaluation method based on the correlation degree between cable states, and draws the conclusion. In this paper, the feasibility of Guanggu 8th Road Bridge of conventional single pylon cable-stayed bridge is verified. The main contents are as follows:The grey system theory is introduced, and the correlation between the stay cables is studied by using the gray correlation initial value analysis method.(1)The method of using the unknown load coefficient is introduced, and the initial prestress of the stay cable is calculated by the unknown load coefficient method and compared with the monitoring data after the bridge is established.(2)Introduce the method of using the unknown load coefficient, and calculate the initial prestress of cable by using the unknown load coefficient method, and compare the monitoring data after the completion of the bridge.(3)Using Midas Civil finite element analysis software, the finite element model of Jinghe Bridge is established to simulate the change of cable force when each cable is disconnected, and the correlation of cable force is studied by the data obtained from the change of cable force.(4)According to the correlation of the cables in the finite element analysis, the correlation among the cables is studied. The related cables of the cable-stayed bridge are determined by the correlation among the cables.(5)As Jinghe Bridge is a special-shaped single-pylon cable-stayed bridge, the applicability of the conclusions is verified by the Guanggu Eighth Road Bridge of the conventional single-pylon cable-stayed bridge.
