As the urbanization process continues to accelerate, the city's scope continues to expand, and with the influx of large numbers of people, the density of buildings has also increased dramatically. The energy consumption of buildings has increased year by year, and the damage to the environment has become more and more serious.Urban air pollution, heat island effect, global warming and other issues have attracted more and more attention. In order to maximize the greening space, building three-dimensional greening, roof gardens, etc.to fully utilize the building walls and roofs to expand the urban green space and improve the micro-ecological environment design methods are increasingly valued.A large number of studies have shown that the three-dimensional greening of buildings has a positive impact on purifying the air, alleviating the heat island effect of the city, and increasing the energy efficiency of the building. At present, the theoretical research on stereoscopic greening in China has accumulated certain results, but the form of three-dimensional greening application is relatively simple. The purpose is to beautify the building and increase the landscape.Based on the regional climate environment of three-dimensional greening of buildings, the research on the adaptive design of three-dimensional greening is relatively weak.In the limitation of regional conditions, some studies lack specific analysis and actual investigation. This paper takes the hot summer and cold winter regions as the research background, and through a large number of reading related domestic and international stereoscopic greening cases,as well as theoretical research literatures in related fields, combined with the design of civil engineering buildings of Hubei University of Technology as an example.Firstly, the development and classification of three-dimensional greening of buildings were sorted out.Secondly, through the literature review and numerical simulation methods, the climatic characteristics, building orientation and building height of the hot summer and cold winter regions were analyzed to analyze the effects of three-dimensional greening. The characteristics of the surface, and in the process of research combined with the actual case, proposed anisotropic design strategy.Anisotropic design refers to a differential design resulting from a multi-dimensional problem that guides the design. The problem characteristics of different dimensions are different, and the design methods are also different depending on the problem. Finally, based on the above theoretical research, based on the case of the civil engineering building of Hubei University of Technology, based on field research, experimental testing and numerical simulation, the three-dimensional greening design was carried out.Based on the background characteristics of hot summer and cold winter, this paper analyzes and summarizes the interface characteristics of different orientations of buildings, and proposes corresponding three-dimensional greening design methods, and concludes three-dimensional green plants suitable for planting in hot summer and cold winter regions. It is hoped that the research ideas of this paper can provide reference and reference for the three-dimensional greening design of hot summer and cold winter regions. At the same time,it can provide reference research methods for the three-dimensional greening design of buildings, and play an active role in promoting the development and research of three-dimensional greening of buildings.
