The Study Of New Warm Mix Material In The Application Of Hydraulic Asphalt Concrete

Warm mix asphalt concrete has the advantages of friendly environmental,saving energy,low production cost and high mixing efficiency.However,there is a lack of research on the application of warm mix material in hydraulic asphalt concrete.Main purposes of this paper are to determine the conditions of warm mix material in the application of hydraulic asphalt concrete and to promote the application of warm mix material in water conservancy project.The research in different temperature,different mixing temperature,different dosage of tackifier effect on the performance of hydraulic asphalt and asphalt concrete and comparing different aging time performance of asphalt and asphalt concrete.The following conclusions by analyzing the test from the paper:(1)Influence of WG-I and WG-II warm mix material with different dosages on NO.90 hydraulic asphalt:the density of warm mix asphalt is basically unchanged,the penetration presents an increasing trend,the softening point presents a small reduction,the ductility decreases but still meets the test specification requirements,and the anti-aging performance of hydraulic asphalt is improved.The warm mix material meets the engineering applicability;(2)Optimum mixing process of warm mix material are as follows:the WG-I warm mix material content is 2%,the asphalt temperature is 1 70 ? and the aggregate temperature is 120 ?,asphalt aggregate can effectively save the energy consumption by 19.49%;WG-II warm mix material content is 5%,the asphalt temperature is 170? and the aggregate temperature is 80 ?;(3)With the increase of resin tackifier content,the indirect tensile strength of Marshall specimen increases gradually,which is helpful to improve its stress and strain capacity.Mixing technology of modified warm mix asphalt concrete is that the WG-II warm mix material content is 5%,the content of resin tackifier is 10%,the asphalt temperature is 170? and the aggregate temperature is 80 ?;(4)The properties of asphalt,warm mix asphalt,modified warm mix asphalt and asphalt concrete aged in different time were analyzed and compared.With the increase of aging time,the penetration,softening point and ductility of asphalt decrease gradually.By comparing the aging properties of the three kinds of asphalt,the viscosifier can effectively improve the ductility and anti-aging properties of the asphalt concrete.The viscosifier can enhance the indirect tensile strength of asphalt concrete,the indirect tensile strain decreases first and then tends to be stable,and the porosity increases first and then tends to be stable.
