Emphasis on the environment as people by the day, the construction and protection has become a topic of common concern.In recent years, the traditional Hot Mix Asphalt consumes energy severely and performance exists adverse issues,so people gradually attach importance to Warm Mixture Mixture (WMA).Based on this condition, this paper studies independent development's WMA.We take a new type of composite material as a modifier, this material not only in the high temperature reduce the dispersion of asphalt viscosity through good penetration capability and strong ability, and in low temperature, it exists relatively stable "network" structure, therefore viscosity can be appropriately increased and recovered.On this basis, through the voids, the integrated SGC method and the Marshall method, we test WMA's mixing and compaction temperature. The results show that, the Mixing and compaction of WMA compared with HMA's can reduce about 10~18℃and 10~156℃.In addition, to evaluate the modified temperature effects, we use a independent R&D's Instrument which is named "real-time asphalt temperature tracking device". It studies the decay of the mixture temperature. The results show that, the temperature of WMA compared with HMA's can reduce slowly.Finally, we have tested and analyzed the performance of asphalt mixtures. Result shows that the high performance and low temperature cracking resistance of the WMA could be increased, but also to improve the water stability.In summary, the technology not only fully reflects the warm mix effect through reducing the mixing and compaction temperatures, but also significantly delays the temperature of the loss in construction, extends the construction time and saves energy.
