With the cdevelopment of our country’s economy and society,people’s living standard has been improved,and the car has become an indispensable part of people’s life.Among them,the bus is one of the main means of transport in modern society.It plays a very important role in the transportation industry with its unique flexibility and convenience.However,due to the large passenger capacity,when the accident occurs,it is easy to cause a large number of casualties.According to the transport data show that the bus rollover caused by the injury rate is 6 times more than the surm of the other traffic accident casualty rate.Therefore,bus rollover safety issue has a strong emphasis on the state and the government.In this paper,the coach body frame is as the research object,in the premise of ensuring the strength and stiffness requirements,to improve the security of the bus for the purpose,with finite element method as the theoretical basis,and using Pro/E,ANSYS Workbench and workbench simulation software LS-DYNA as research tools,carry out the optimization design and research with the reliability and the rollover safety of bus body frame.The main research results include the followings:l On the basis of predecessors,using Workbench ANSYS simulation software establish a finite element model for simulation analysis of passenger cars.2.The static analysis and the modal analysis of the bus body frame were carried out under the four conditions(under bending and torsion conditio,turning conditions and emergency braking),getting the deformation nephogram and stress nephogram,inherent frequency and vibration type,which verify the reliability of finite element model,3.Analyzing the rollover safety of the bus body under the ECE R66 and GB/T 17578-1998 standard to get the deformation,velocity carve,acceleration curve and the changes of collision safety space.4.According to the principle of bus body design,the size optimization and shape optimization of the body frame are carried out.Effectively improve the rigidity performance,dynamic performance and rollover safety about the bus.After comparing the body skeleton performance about before and after of static analysis,modal analysis and rollover safety,it is found that after optimization,the bus body frame not only meet the stiffness and strength requirements,and effectively improve the body structure to resist the rollover frame deformation ability.The optimization of the body frame is successful.
