| With the social development and the increasing of the living standard for our people,buses are more widely applied as a public transportation tool.In order to meet the increasing demand from the market,our company plan to develop a brand new large bus.According to the requirement of GB 13094-2007《 The safety requirements for bus construction》,the strength of the superstructure of the bus body needs to meet the standard of GB 17578-2013 《 Requirements and test methods of strength for the superstructure of bus 》.The new design has dramatic structure u pgrade from one certain 12 meter tourism bus.In order to smoothly pass the rollover certification test of the bus,our company has set up a project of finite element analysis.The purpose is to utilize the method of finite element analysis to increase eff iciency of product development so that to reduce the testing cost.This report will include the following contents:(1)Set up 3D CAD data model with the product design.With Hyper Mesh software to process the data and to set up the finite element analysis model.(2)With the requirement from standard GB 17578-2013《Requirements and test methods of strength for the superst ructure of bus》,utilize LS-DYNA to make finite element analysis for the bus skeleton rollover bumping,to check if the bus superstructure design meets the standard requirement of thestrength.If issues are found with the strength of the bus body skeleton,then to revise design till the body skeleton rollover finite element analysis shows it meets the requirement of GB 17578-2013.Then the design upgrade work concludes.(3)To conduct the bus rollover test for the regulation confirmation certification for the bus superstructure strength.To compare the actual testing data with the data from the finite element analysis and proved the accuracy of the finite element analysis method.The finite element analysis achieved excellent result to solve the actual engineering subject.Actual testing result has good contingency with finite element analysis.The sample bus passed the certification test with one try.The target was finished perfectly.This saved good amount of testing cost for our company,shortened development lead time and paved way for the product to go into the market on time. |
