| Fast,large-scale,benefit-oriented is the normal development of modern cities.Such planning methods often make the city appear the status quo of the new with the old,and the new appearance of cities are identical.Such planning methods often lead to the fragmentation of space and the exhaustion of cultural context in historic blocks,which can only survive in the "cracks".Lushun Taiyanggou historical block is the most concentrated area of Russian and Japanese colonial buildings in Dalian City.The Taiyanggou has a number of cultural relics protection buildings at the national and district levels,as well as a large number of modern historical buildings not included in the protection list.From the architectural value,these buildings with exotic flavor have become precious historical and cultural heritage shared by all mankind under the baptism of years.There are Roman,eclecticism,Gothic,Renaissance and other different styles of architecture in different periods.In addition,the preservation of its architectural environment is basically intact.Its precious degree is self-evident,which also makes the historical and Cultural District of Solar Valley more valuable for research and protection.However,the protection status of the solar ditch is not optimistic.There are many old houses in disrepair.Historic buildings that have been destroyed and rebuilt are everywhere.Problems such as the destruction of block texture,the breakdown of space continuity and the imbalance of building volume make the protection transformation of the solar ditch imminent.The renovation of historic blocks is not only the renewal and maintenance of the material level,but also the protection of their cultural context.The place that can trigger people’s memory and resonance is the public space of a historical block,which bears the spirit and soul of a historical block.Therefore,the transformation and renewal of the public space of a historical block has become the focus of this paper.Based on the investigation,mapping and data collection,this paper reviews the main forms of public space in Taiyanggou,including street space,courtyard space and square space,from the perspective of public space renovation and renewal.Through multi-dimensional and all-round analysis,combined with the theory of site construction,historic block renovation and space planning and design,the design principles and methods suitable for public space renovation of solar ditch are put forward.Finally,we should grasp the representative public space in the block for design practice.It is hoped that the vitality of historic blocks can be revitalized through renovation design,difficulties and innovations can be summarized in the process of design to supplement and improve the strategic research of renovation design.It is hoped that the research on the renovation of historical and cultural districts in Taiyanggou can be taken as a pilot project,which can provide some theoretical reference for the protection and renovation of public space of historical and cultural districts with similar cultural backgrounds in China. |
