The traction drive system of diesel locomotives is one of the most important components to express the performance of locomotives,and its performance will directly affect the economics of diesel engines.Based on the research and development design of HXN3 K passenger diesel locomotive AC drive system,this paper studies the main and auxiliary traction drive system that can recover regenerative braking energy,mainly including the following contents:In view of the situation that the energy of the diesel locomotive cannot be recovered during regenerative braking,this paper proposes a main-assisted integrated AC drive system scheme,which returns the energy generated by the locomotive regenerative braking to the auxiliary power supply system to realize the recycling of the regenerative braking energy.Redistribution of regenerative energy is achieved by a DC chopper module.In the design process of HXN3 K passenger diesel locomotive AC drive system,it is necessary to meet the requirements of locomotive traction performance and ensure the advanced technical and economic indicators of electric drive.Therefore,the main circuit proposes traction motor frame control scheme.Traction converter is designed to reduce the equipment layout space by using a forced air-cooled structure.At the same time,due to the use of AC asynchronous motor,the system can better meet the traction performance requirements,improve the reliability and reduce the weight.In order to better control the asynchronous motor,the stator current of the AC motor is transformed into the stator excitation current component and the stator torque current component based on the indirect magnetic field orientation vector control algorithm,so that the control system is simplified and the traction performance is improved.According to the calculation of traction performance,the main technical parameters of the locomotive are determined.By matching the system parameters,the parameters of the main components of the traction drive system are completed,and the design of the auxiliary drive system and the microcomputer control system is completed.Finally,the HXN3 K AC drive experimental platform was introduced.Through the joint test of the scheme in the traction simulation test bench,it provides an important reference for the preparation of the subsequent microcomputer control software.The traction drive system of the HXN3 K diesel locomotive saves fuel consumption and reduces emissions through the use of regenerative energy.In order to ensure the efficiency of the system transmission,from the perspective of economy and reliability,the design of the main and auxiliary integrated AC drive system was completed.In this scheme,the design idea of the traction system and the auxiliary system sharing the intermediate DC link has a good research and reference significance for the diesel-loaded hybrid power transmission system.
