| This paper studies the spatial transformation of a village,Through the field investigation of a village under tourism development along the Yellow River in the northwest,it finds that the local houses, land, roads and temples are going through a series of spatial processes,Three forces are involved in the transformation of local space: local society, capital and government,These three forces have their own spatial cognitive schemata, norms and appeals,Therefore, the same space presents different forms and characteristics under different spatial logic,The space in the local society’s vision is a space and ethical space with local beliefs,The capital-led space is a commodity that follows the logic of the market and requires space to be a homogeneous, open, and fluid space,The space in the eyes of the government is the object of governance,The joint involvement of the three forces led to a series of conflicts and games, and created the need for spatial separation,The original single space was separated in time and space into different spaces of different nature and characteristics in response to different subjects,Space norms and demands,The spatial logic of different subjects is sometimes conflicting,Space as a governance object, the government’s spatial logic plays an important role. |
