In view of the advantages of the PBN procedures in solving aircraft conflicts,airspace congestion,flight delays,and reduction of controller workload,more and more civil airports in China have begun to implement PBN procedures.At present,both PBN procedures and traditional flight procedures are used in most China’s airports.The difference between the PBN procedures and the traditional flight procedures will inevitably lead to changes in airport clearance requirements,but there is a lack of systematic and comprehensive analysis of the impact of the PBN procedures on airport clearance requirements at home and abroad.In view of this,it is of great value and significance to carry out relevant research to improve airport clearance management and ensure airworthiness.This paper conducts in-depth research and analysis on three aspects of PBN implementation.In order to fully describe the degree of restrictions on city construction space,the paper puts forward the concept of coverage on the basis of the scope and height of clearance.In terms of departure procedure,the paper analyzes the technical specifications and vertical obstacle-free requirements of PBN departure procedures,and on this basis,analyzes the difference in the scope and coverage between the PBN procedures and traditional flight procedures.Then it finds that the PBN clearance protection area is narrowed and the coverage is reduced,thus releases more space for the construction of the airport.In terms of the approach procedure,the paper analyzes three types PBN approach procedures applicable to airports in China,and also finds that PBN approach procedures have greater advantages in terms of protected area range,coverage and obstacle clearance height.In view of the fact that one engine-out protection may impose more stringent requirements on airport clearance,the paper analyzes the scope of protection zones and obstacle clearance requirements of the one engine-out emergency procedures,and compares them with the PBN departure procedures.The extent of the protected area is generally less than the PBN departure.Finally,based on probability theory,the paper establishes the obstacle-aircraft collision risk model of traditional flight procedure and PBN procedure and calculates the collision risk probability.The results show that the PBN procedure can significantly reduce the collision probability under the same obstacle conditions and reduce security risks. |
