The countryside is the foundation of China’s social development, but because of the long-term development of urban and rural dual structure system, the overall development of the countryside is relatively backward,from2004 The CPC Central Committee has been continuously15 issued a central document on the theme of "Agriculture, rural areas",and the village issue has gradually become a key issue of concern to our country. With the continuous development of China’s economy and society,in recent years for the village public space based on the rural human settlements environment more and more strong, but in the design process, due to the tight design time, the task volume, many design units in the design process, and did not go through in-depth pre-research and design analysis,so that the design results are not satisfactory The work of human settlements environmental improvement floats on the surface and does not really fit the needs of villagers. This paper optimizes the design path of village public space by drawing on the social network analysis method and modular design theory. In the early research stage,on the basis of traditional public spatial attribute data analysis, the paper focuses on the analysis and research of village relationship data, including the data of village public space relationship between village public space, village public space and village, and village public space and users. And the relationship data of villagers ’ public behavior relationship data are studied, and combined with the historical and cultural elements of villages, the activities of children and the elderly and other data, through UCINET The social network analysis software forms the Public Space Network diagram and the public Behavior Network diagram, through to the two kinds of Network diagram comparison, thus clarifies the village public space design demand and the design direction. In the design stage, through summing up the design elements commonly used in the village public space, using the modular design theory, the general library of the village public space is constructed, and the formation9Large-class division engineering,40 Design elements, and expand a number of specific practices for each design element, each including applicable requirements, large sample diagrams, renderings, quality control points, negative case five information, and the establishment of Design element Coding Index system table, village Demand Index system table, material indexing system table three index system table,in the completion of preinvestigation and analysis,After determining the design requirements of each public space, the corresponding design elements can be indexed directly through the relevant Index system table. The first chapter of the thesis first analyzes the research background, explains the origin and significance of the subject, defines the research object, and explains the research status, research methods and framework, and the second chapter combs the reference content of the social network analysis method and the modular design theory, and explains the corresponding reference form. The third chapter is the case study, which reviews the rural design path of the new rural construction in Wengyuan County and the rural design path of the new rural construction in Nanxiong, and the fourth chapter puts forward the construction of the design path of the village public space, which is expounded from two aspects of the determination of public space demand and the construction and indexing of the common library. In the fifth chapter, according to the above village public Space design path method, the practice of Wengyuan County Hualong area is selected, and the feasibility of the design path is tested. Finally, the paper summarizes, and puts forward three thoughts on the relevant aspects of the design path of village public space.
