| "Power transmission from west to east and regional networking" is the basic strategy of China’s energy development.With the expansion of power grid scale and the wide use of excitation systems with fast and high amplification,low-frequency oscillation has become an important factor affecting the stability and safety of power systems.Adding PSS(power system stabilizer)to generator excitation system is the main measure to suppress low frequency oscillation.Reasonable allocation of PSS parameters can optimize the effect of PSS damping suppression.Experts at home and abroad have applied intelligent optimization algorithms such as bacterial foraging algorithm,ant colony algorithm and particle swarm optimization to coordinated optimization of PSS parameters,and achieved some results,but there is still room for improvement in operability,convergence and optimization ability.This paper takes the new PSS4 B power system stabilizer as the research object,and mainly carries out the following work:1)The working principle and operation characteristics of PSS4 B power system stabilizer are analyzed.2)The non-compensated phase-frequency characteristics of the unit are obtained by collecting the field test data and calculating the equivalent value.3)Analyse and evaluate various intelligent optimization algorithms,and analyze the advantages of SAPSO(simulated annealing particle swarm optimization)in global search ability and search rate.4)In [0,4] Hz band,aiming at minimizing the error between compensated phase-frequency characteristic and target phase-frequency characteristic,a mathematical model for setting parameters of PSS4 B power system stabilizer is established,and the process and steps of solving the model by SAPSO algorithm are proposed.5)Based on the simulation platform of MATLAB,the effects of PSS2 A power system stabilizer and PSS4 B power system stabilizer on suppressing low frequency oscillation are analyzed and compared.The research shows that PSS4 B power system stabilizer has excellent performance after optimization by SAPSO algorithm.The work of this paper provides a method and tool for power system operation analysts to adjust the parameters of PSS4 B power system stabilizer.It has a good reference value for improving the damping characteristics of large power grid and suppressing low frequency oscillation. |
