Research On Green Space Maintenance Management Of The Xianyang Lake Landscape

In recent years,the outcomes of ecological management are very prominent with a rapid development of ecological landscape greening for the Wei River valley.It had been basically formed a waterfront green corridor interconnected to each green space and wetland on both sides of the Wei River downstream.However,how to improve the cross-sides greening management,solve the tough maintenance problems and it becomes a new mission.This paper aims at the problems about the landscape greening maintenance of the man-made Xianyang Lake which locates Xianyang city crossing the Wei River,and provides technical guidance to meet the advanced management needs.The green landscape of the Xianyang Lake has been in the stage of extensive management for many years,and maintenance technology and measures are very poor.In a word,there is no unified scientific maintenance technical measures.Some contributions in this paper are obtained by field trips,on-site investigation,problem diagnosis,reference comparison,innovation refinement and summary.The results are as follows.1.In consideration of the lack of maintenance standard of the Xianyang Lake scenic area,the paper puts forward the maintenance technical route and standard for the development of green landscape in the Xianyang Lake from three aspects of terrestrial plants,aquatic plants and cold-season turf respectively.The technical route of terrestrial plant maintenance mainly focuses on trees,shrubs,hedges,ribbons,flowering trees and climbing plants,and those key technologies include the root system and planting,soil and improvement,pruning and shaping,irrigation and fertilization,pest and disease prevention and control,intertillage and weeding.The technical route on afforestation maintenance of aquatic plants and cold season turf is also introduced in this paper.2.Given the poor technical measures of the previous greening practice,the “Five Enhancement” methodology is proposed for the landscape maintenance management of the Xianyang Lake,and the greening work presents a systematic,procedural and regular pattern.3.According to the site conditions,plant species,maintenance purpose and requirements of the green space of the Xianyang Lake,the maintenance specifications and standards are established,including the fine-grained maintenance specifications and standards for the three main bodies of terrestrial plants,aquatic plants and lawns in the landscape.The Xianyang Lake is a back garden of Xianyang citizens and plays an important role in ecological regulation.In the past few years,under the hard practice of all the greeningworkers and owing to the comprehensive guidance of scientific management methods,maintenance measures and technical routes,the Xianyang Lake landscape gallery discards the degradation and disorderly phenomenon for many years to demonstrate a beautiful scene of“green water and green corridors,” and has played its good ecology and the ornamental value.
