Abstract/Summary:
As a branch with strong regional characteristics, palace architecture in Bashu area has attracted the attention of scholars as early as in the period of building societies activities. With the development of research, ancient simplicity and exotic complexity have gradually become important symbols of Bashu architecture.Up to now, numerous studies have been carried out on the architectural characteristics of Bashu, including the study of dynastic style characteristics from a historical point of view and the induction of structural characteristics from a technical point of view.In the early research, the number of palace buildings found in Bashu area is not very large,so its research mainly focuses on the analysis of architectural cases. With the development of cultural relics discovery, the number of palace buildings found in Bashu area can not be compared with Shaanxi,Shanxi and other places, but as far as the southern provinces are concerned, they are among the best. Therefore, with the support of a considerable number of buildings, the study of palace buildings in Bashu area is bound to go further on the basis of case studies. In the past, due to the large number of palace buildings in Bashu,Yuan and Ming Dynasties and the limitation of objective conditions, there were many scholars involved in the study of the characteristics of "primitive simplicity" in the palace buildings in Bashu, but they did not form a monographic study. The phenomenon of "lag" behind "primitive simplicity" is also difficult to demonstrate in depth because of the relatively static case analysis method, which makes the "lag" in the building of Bashu palace mostly related to remote geography. With the development of the network, more and more channels of information acquisition and less difficulty of acquisition make it possible to make a "one-net-all" study of the palace buildings in Bashu,Yuanming and Sichuan provinces.Based on a large number of data, the dynamic study of the "lag" phenomenon in Bashu Architecture is closer to the core concept of the comparison of the two change processes represented by "lag".Taking six kinds of components as the breakthrough point, such as lunar beam type appendix, oblique component, interior jump of filling pavement, number of filling pavement, rafter form and corner structure, this paper analyses their changing trend in quantity, using time, geographical location, form and practice in Bashu area, and draws a conclusion that the use of moon beam type appendix and oblique component has thesame regional concentration tendency and recurrence angle.Beams and parallel rafters are prevalent in Bashu area, and there are changes of "golden pillars-corner beams-coexistence of various forms" in filling pavement. On the basis of this change characteristics, through longitudinal comparison with official buildings and buildings in Jiangsu and Zhejiang provinces, and horizontal comparison with buildings in other remote areas in the south,it is concluded that the "lag" of parallel rafters, curved logs and corner beams should be formed for "local identity",and that the development of moon beam appendices and the paving of filling spaces should be "technical delay".A series of more detailed "lagging" characteristics of the palace buildings in Bashu, such as the "lagging" caused by this phenomenon.Further analysis of the geographical and human environment shows that the reason for the "lagging" of the Yuan and Ming palaces in Bashu area is not simply geographical remoteness. The social depression after the war,the hot and humid climate, the aesthetic identification of the "dragon" culture, and the construction of Shouwang Palace all have an important impact on it.Although the Moon Beam type appendix is popular,it will eventually disappear.Although the corner beam has many restrictions on architecture,it has been used up to now.The detailed analysis of the multiple reasons behind it is not only a deepening of the study of traditional architecture, but also a tapping of the roots of Ba-Shu architectural culture, providing a permanent source of inspiration for modern architectural creation.
