The power industry is the engine of national and regional economic development.It is a priority for economic development strategies in all countries and one of the basic energy industries in the development of the national economy.As a basic industry that has a bearing on national economy and people's livelihood,the power industry plays a decisive role in promoting the development of national economy and social progress.However,the power transmission line is a link in the energy utilization of the power system.The task is to transmit electric energy and contact various power plants,substations and users.The rationality,scientificity and economic performance of the design directly determine the regional development and users' living standard.Based on the development planning of "the Belt and Road" and power grid radiation experience in China,the supply voltage of the power use units is determined by such factors as consuming capacity,power equipment characteristics,power supply distance,the loop number of power supply lines,long-term planning of power use unit,the local public power grid status and its development planning and economic rationality.However,a complex and contradictory relationship exists among transmission voltage of transmission line,power transmission capacity,transmission distance,line type,line loss and economic characteristics.Based on this contradiction,the project is carried out by combining regional economic development and other factors.The project is located in the desert plain where expansive soil is available and features high temperature,low altitude,medium minefield,multi-branch points and small-load power grid radiation in long supply radius area.The paper first completes the load statistics of the project,selects transmission line voltage scheme in terms of technical and economic feasibility and calculates the current carrying capacity of transmission line sectional area and line loss from altitude and ambient temperature.According to the regional characteristics,the analysis of meteorological conditions combination is completed and relevant parameters are calculated.Based on the analysis of the sag characteristics of overhead transmission lines at suspension points with equal height,the judgment of the maximum sag at suspension points with equal height and the solution of state equation are obtained,and the stress sag curve and installation curve are drawn for the transmission line.Finally,the lightning protection and the related grounding design of the project are completed by analyzing the lightning protection measures of the overhead transmission line.The related projects of this subject have been implemented,and the completed project shows that the project design scheme of this paper is reasonable and feasible.
