Study On Economic Value Evaluation Of Urban Greenway Recreation Resources

Urban greenway is an important part of the city's natural environment.It not only provides people with the opportunity to contact with nature within the city,but also has the function of improving the urban environmental quality and improving the city's livability and ecology.In Wuhan City,the East Lake Greenway is a wetland greenway park that has been invested and developed by the municipal government to integrate tourism,leisure and holiday,and science education functions.It has been successfully selected as the UNHABITAT China Urban Space Demonstration The project will not only clarify the sustainable value of greenway,but also provide decision-making reference for optimizing urban land use,planning and management,improving land use efficiency and promoting sustainable development of Wuhan.Current methods of assessing the value of public goods and tourism resources in academia include CVM(Conditional Value Assessment)and TCM(Travel Expenses Act).At the same time,the paper uses CVM and TCM to study the economic value of the recreation resources of the East Lake Greenway in Wuhan.Questionnaires were conducted from December 24,2018 to January 20,2019 to collect basic data.Through analysis,it is concluded that:(1)the total economic value of the greenway is 9.981-11.681 billion yuan,which indicates that the economic value of Wuhan East Lake Greenway as a recreation resource is huge,and the greenway is the growing demand for natural environment in Wuhan.A positive response was given.According to the analysis and processing of CVM survey data,the willingness rate of tourists to the East Lake Greenway is 50.91%,and the median value of WTP is 45.46 yuan.The non-use value of the East Lake Greenway is 25210.19-4221.282 million by CVM.Regression analysis of the samples found that the willingness of tourists to pay was affected by monthly income,understanding of the East Lake Greenway,impressions and occupations.An analysis of the TCM survey data shows that for every 1% increase in travel expenses,the tourist demand index for tourists will be reduced by 0.026 percentage points.The per capita direct expenditure of the sample is 51.46 yuan,and the consumer surplus is 26.24 yuan,that is,the average travel cost is 77.7 yuan/person.According to the MATLAB regression calculation,the use value of the 2017 East Lake Greenway is 74595.4571 million yuan.(2)The non-use value and use value of urban greenway are very different,which is mainly affected by differences in payment groups and psychological factors of tourists.(3)It is feasible to use CVM and TCM to evaluate the economic value of urban greenway recreation resources.As an important part of urban public goods,the East Lake Greenway belongs to the scope of CVM and TCM assessment.Two methods were used to evaluate the greenway,which ensured the integrity of the economic value of the greenway recreation resources to the greatest extent,and made up for the lack of research using a single method.In order to make the urban greenway land utilization rate at a high level,it is imperative to maintain and improve the economic value of urban greenway recreation resources;the government and greenway management parties should play their due functions and roles,strengthen greenway planning,and enhance greenway tourists.Attractive and enhance the public's awareness of greenway protection.
