Inductive pulsed power supply(IPPS)is a type of pulsed power supply that is in rapid development.Because of its high theoretical energy density,low insulation requirements,and static energy storage type,it has great potential and advantages in various energy storage types.Compared with the capacitive type,the IPPS has a longer current pulse width,and the residual current of the track is still large when the projectile goes out,which causes ablation of the muzzle and loss of the emission efficiency;The volume of the high-coupling energy storage inductor is high in the power system,and its dense lifting is important for the overall power supply.Therefore,this paper has carried out related research on the direction of efficiency improvement and miniaturization.Firstly,a new topology called SECT with TODC is proposed,which will bring energy feedback to the IPPS.The discharging process of each stage and the triggering delay of the corresponding thyristors are introduced.For the problem of increasing the voltage of the device during energy recovery,the capacitor branch is added and the voltage peak is effectively suppressed.Then we get a set of 55 kJ power topology module?s parameters.The topology model is built in simulink,and the effectiveness of the topology for energy recovery is simulated,compared to the normal SECT topology,TODC can achieve higher emission efficiency.Secondlly,the cause of the inductance damage is analyzed,and the stress test model is established.Through the development and testing of high coupling inductance samples,a volume optimized energy storage inductor for SECT with TODC topology is proposed.The structural parameters such as the axial thickness and outer diameter of the unit coil are selected as independent variables,the volume and resistance are set as the objective function in Matlab to optimize the design,and the inductor satisfying the stress requirement is obtained with the Maxwell 3D stress model.The verification of thermal and voltage between turns are performed,a inductor with miniaturization,strong-coupling,and low internal resistance is obtained.Finally,the 55 kJ model of the module is designed to simulate the magnetic field distribution inside the module under rated flow.Using magnetic shielding measures,it was found that the interference of each surface of the thyristor fell to 1T and trigger device fell to 300 gauss,the electromagnetic compatibility target is achieved.Multi-module discharges the railgun model,comparing the actual efficiency of the common SECT and TODC topologies,it is verified that the IPPS topology designed in this paper achieves energy recovery and efficiency improvement.
