Port plate pairs are key friction pairs in axial piston pump.Oil film,which is used in balancing pinched force and moment of cylinder in the port plate,eliminates direct contact between metals,thereby removing the heat caused by friction.The performance of port plate pairs directly affects the mechanical and volumetric efficiency of axial piston pump.However,problems,such as invalid oil film,large leakage,and burnt port plate,occur with the increase of rated pressure.Analyzing the influence of pressure on oil film is important to increase the pressure level of axial piston pump.In this study,the mechanical property of a plunger pump cylinder,the performance of oil film,and the design method of port plate under ultra-high pressure were investigated.The main contents of this study are as follow:(1)The research status and development trend of the ultra-high pressure pump and the performance of the oil film of the port plate pairs in the axial piston pump were analyzed.The design method of the port plate pairs in the axial piston pump were analyzed.The design method of the port plate pairs and the multiobjective optimization problem were introduced.(2)The working principles of the port plate pairs were introduced by taking the port plate pairs in the axial piston pump under ultra-high pressure as the research object.Moreover,the flow leakage,oil film thickness,and mechanical models,which provide the theoretical basis for determining the mathematical model design of the port plate pairs,were established.(3)A mathematical model for optimal design was established and solved by using multiobjective swarm optimization algorithm for designing the port plate pairs under ultra-high pressure.(4)The testing platform for the performance of oil film was constructed to analyze the influence rule of pressure and speed for leakage rate on the basis of the mechanical and oil film leakage models of the port plate pairs.
