The port plate pairs is not only the key fractional pair but also one of the main components which is easiest to be worn out, so the lubricating property of the port plate pairs system is vital significance for the whole water hydraulic axial piston pump system. In the oil hydraulic axial piston pump system, the researcher improved the lubricating property of the port plate pairs system greatly by ameliorating the port plate structure. But for pure water whose kinematic viscosity is much less than oil's, it needs to further research whether the similar mend for the port plate structure to improving the lubricating property for help or not. Therefore, under the background of water hydraulic technology which is more and more important, the research for the lubricating property of the port plate pairs of water hydraulic axial piston pump has important actual significance.In this thesis, the three-dimension CFD technique is used to simulate the flow field inside kinds of structures of the port plate pairs, and based on this, the author analyses the influence of the port plate pairs structure.In this thesis, CFD software STAR-CD is used to establish the static models for kinds of structure of the port plate pairs. Firstly, analyzing the model of the general structure port plate pairs, the velocity distribution, pressure distribution, the flux leakage and the pressing force can be obtained, the relation of the flux leakage with the surface roughness and the water film clearance. Secondly, the flow field property of the port plate pairs with absorber slot is compared with the general port plate pairs's. The results showing that here the lubricating property of flow field inside the port plate pairs whose structure ameliorated is obviously better than the flow field inside the general port plate pairs. Thirdly, the CFD software is used to simulate the flow field of the port plate pairs with the static supporting structure of continuous water supply and establish the mathematics numeration model, so the port plate structure of continuous water supply which applies for actual application can be obtained.At last, based on the aforesaid analyses, the author puts forward improving the port plate structure, diminishing the asymmetry of the pressure distribution, minishing vibration effectively. The thesis offers - reference foundations with the applied water hydraulic axial piston pump system for accurately optimizing of the port plate pairs.
