Develop Additional hybrid electric vehicle(EPHEV)is an important way to solve the transition problem between traditional internal combustion engine vehicle and pure electric vehicle.However,most of the current EPHEV still use traditional internal combustion engine as the power source of the extender,and the application of specialization of the extended range engine for EPHEV is less.Aiming at this phenomenon,this paper takes a small displacement single-cylinder four-stroke gasoline engine as the research object,and develops the special engine electronic control system for the small-scale extender according to the engine working conditions required by the extender.According to the working conditions and the detailed parameters of the prototype of the special engine for small-scale extender,the average engine model,the engine control model and the working condition determination model are established in the MATLAB/Simunlik environment.The model is debugged and simulated according to the original experimental data of the prototype.The average engine model and the established engine PID air fuel ratio controller model are combined to simulate and determine the control variables required by the PID air fuel ratio controller.The PID constant speed controller and the model predictive speed controller are designed for the steady-state condition of constant speed which is unique to the engine of the range extender.The PID constant speed controller and the average engine model are simulated jointly,and the simulation results are analyzed.The operating point of model predictive speed controller is set,the simulation of model predictive speed controller is carried out,and the simulation results are analyzed.The simulation results of PID speed controller and model predictive controller are compared and analyzed,and the final constant speed control scheme is selected.According to the control requirements of the electronic control system,MC9S12XS128 MAA chip is selected as the control chip,and the corresponding hardware circuit is designed for the required sensor and actuator signals.The hardware circuit of the control unit is tested to determine whether the design meets the requirements.According to the model and control model of the engine electronic control system,the software program of the electronic control system is designed,and the experimental platform of the engine bench is built to validate the electronic control system of the small-scale extender engine.
