As the key component of the EV,the functional safety of the VCU has a direct impact on the running safety of the vehicle.In order to follow the rapid updated market,the development cycle of the VCU becomes shorter and shorter,which challenges to ensure its functional safety.In addition,the functional verification based on the real vehicle is to test the product-level VCU,it can not be pointed out whether the problem exists in the model or the code,which hinders the rapid solution of the problem and extended the development cycle invisibly.In this paper,the simulation model of the VCU of an EV is built,and the function verification is carried out in the process of the development of the VCU,in order to quickly locate and modify the problems in the test.It can not only ensure the functional safety of the VCU,but also ensure the safety of the VCU.It can also avoid extended the development cycle because of the long time to solve the problem.The main work is as follows:(1)According to the basic structure and the performance parameters of the whole vehicle,this chapter analyzed the function definition of the VCU,and built the simulation model of the VCU in the Matlab/Simulink.(2)According to the existing simulation test technology,the functional verification scheme of VCU in the process of development is determined,and the test flow is designed.Firstly,the model-in-loop test is used to verify the function of the VCU,which is in the model stage.And the wrong control model is quickly located and modified.Secondly,the software-in-loop test is used to verify the function of the VCU which is in the code stage.The error code is quickly located and debugged.Finally,an integrated scheme of a Rapid Control Prototype(RCP)and hardware-in-loop test was used to verify the on-line simulation of the modified VCU.(3)In order to solve the problem of large redundancy of test cases,this paper optimizes the development method of test cases,which reduced the redundancy of test cases effectively and shorten the test cycle.Based on the optimized development method,the test case of functional verification of the VCU is developed.(4)The safety of the VCU that has been debugged is proved by testing in the real-vehicle environment.According to the real-vehicle test,the road planning and the configuration of the experimental equipment are carried out,and the test results are analyzed.It is proved that the verification and debugging of the VCU in the early stage of development can effectively shorten the development cycle and ensure the functional safety.
