In order to fully study the basic overview of the plant landscape and the level of plant application of the Changchun Water Purification Plant before and after the renovation,this paper adopts the census method to conduct a comprehensive survey of the woody plant landscape.While analyzing some ecological indicators such as plant species composition and diversity characteristics,this study applies the AHP to investigate and evaluate the plant landscapes of the water Purification plant before the renovation and the five districts in the Changchun Water Culture Ecological Park after the renovation.According to the results of the survey,the changes in the ecological characteristics and landscape characteristics of the plant landscape before and after the renovation are summarized,and a reasonable evaluation is achieved.In the meanwhile,some suggestions related to plant landscape are proposed for the adjustment and optimization of the Changchun Water Culture Ecological Park,which can provide theory guidance for subsequent optimization of plant landscape application.The main conclusions are as follows:(1)There are 51 species of garden woody plants before the renovation,belonging to 18 families and 34 genera.Evergreen plants account for about 24.69%.There are 57 species of woody plants in the park after the renovation,belonging to 17 families and 39 genera.Among the five districts in the park,the plants of the urban vitality sports area are most abundant,accounting for 64.91% of the overall plant species.The plants of cultural industry demonstration area account for 58.88%.The plants of the art fashion display area account for 56.14%.The plants of the water culture ecological area account for 38.90%.The number of plants in the historical and cultural exhibition area is the least,which is only 14.04%.The proportion of evergreen plants in the urban vitality sports area is the highest and reaches 1: 2.56,which meets the requirement of the proportion between evergreen plants and deciduous plants in northern China.The proportions of evergreen in the remaining four districts are relatively insufficient.(2)Species richness and diversity index are both important ecological evaluation criteria for plant landscapes.Before the renovation of this park,the Simpson diversity index was 0.91,the Shannon-Wiener diversity index was 3.07,the Pielou evenness index was 0.78,and the Margalef species richness index was 5.50.After the renovation,according to the Simpson diversity index,Shannon-Wiener diversity index and Margalef species richness index,the historical and cultural exhibition area has the lowest species richness due to area limitation.Species richness of the other four districts is high and reaches an appropriate level.The Simpson diversity index is in line with the Shannon-Wiener diversity index.All of the five plant landscapes districts are good in terms of the Pielou evenness index.The Pielou evenness index of the cultural industry demonstration area is especially high and reaches 0.8,which means the species uniformity of this area is the best.(3)In this paper,the Changchun City Water Purification Plant before the renovation and the five districts in the Changchun Water Culture Ecological Park after the renovation are evaluated separately according to nine evaluation indicators from three aspects using AHP.The YAHP landscape score of Changchun City Water Purification Plant before the renovation was 0.551 and the landscape quality grade was Grade III.In the Changchun Water Culture Ecological Park after the renovation,the landscape quality grade of the urban vitality sports area is Grade I.The landscape quality grade of the cultural industry demonstration area,the water culture ecological area,the art fashion display area,and the historical and cultural exhibition area is Grade II.The rank related to plant landscape quality evaluation is,urban vitality sports area > cultural industry demonstration area > water culture ecological area > art fashion display area > historical and cultural exhibition area.The evaluation indexes of the Changchun Water Culture Ecological Park after the renovation are better than the Changchun Water Purification Plant before the renovation.and has a good plant landscape effect,which proves to be a successful renovation project.(4)The Changchun Water Culture Park after the renovation is abundant in plant species and has a clear landscape level.It combines human activities with plant landscape design to create a unique and innovative plant landscape.However,there still exists some problems and improvement spaces.The evergreen plants species in some areas of the park are slightly insufficient.It is recommended that more adaptable evergreen plants should be applied in this park to enrich the types and quantities of these plants.More flowering plants and color-leafed plants can also be applied in order to enrich the seasonal changes of plant landscape,adjust the plant life-type structure,increase the plant landscape hierarchy,and create a more beautiful plant landscape effect.
