| China’s packaging design industry has a history of 30 years since it joined the World Packaging Organization and established China Packaging Corporation in the early1980 s.From the initial theoretical discussion to the later rapid development,packaging design has made a significant contribution to the development of China’s commodity market.Packaging design is a collection of creativity and wisdom.Intelligence,information,science and technology as one of the most professional artistic activities in the 21 st century is one of the fastest developing creative industries in human society and economy.It represents an important symbol of the level of scientific and cultural development of a country and a nation.Malinovsky,a famous anthropologist,has expressed that human need for culture has become a necessary life need in social life.Modern packaging design is a new design discipline which emerges with the needs of human culture.It is based on human cultural life and pursues modern fashion and flourishes.Chinese salt culture is an important part of Chinese culture.It covers the process of salt production and development in Chinese human life and spreads to all cultural fields related to salt.It has a long history and plays an important role in the material life of the Chinese nation.Its cultural accumulation is so thick and deep that it extends from material to spiritual.Its vitality is very strong,with incomparable penetration and dissemination.It has remarkable regional and cultural characteristics,which are determined by its geographical distribution of resources and national characteristics.Zigong City,China,has a long history of salt industry and is known as the "Salt Capital of China" all over the world.There is no doubt that the well salt culture in Zigong has significant regional cultural characteristics.With the rapid development of China’s economic construction,the new design concepts brought about by packaging design are no longer subject to the constraints of traditional style and regional culture.On the premise of paying attention to the procedure,elements,principles and functions of salt culture packaging design,moreattention is paid to the combination of design style with salt industry strategy and salt culture,and design is emphasized.Independence,rationality of material selection,environmental protection and exquisite printing process,etc.High emotional and high-tech combination of humanized design.Therefore,taking Zigong salt culture as a representative,this paper explores the psychological needs and development trends of consumer groups,implements feasible plans,highlights regional characteristics in well salt packaging design,integrates well salt packaging design of Zigong with personalization and serialization,and solves the application and inheritance of regional culture in packaging design. |
