Research On The Application Of Traditional Fengshui Thought In Landscape Design

In the long history of five thousand years,the Chinese nation has created countless amazing achievements,including the traditional Chinese fengshui thought,emerged with the early agricultural civilization,which is intuitive,experienced and has a overall view of epistemology and values.It guided the long-term survival environment construction practice in our country and helped formed the Chinese traditional ecological view and aesthetic preferences.The typical spatial pattern formed by the construction practice guided by Chinese traditional fengshui thought has its own characteristics in environmental suitability,thoughts systematic and regional culture,in particular,especially the concept of landscape ecology if reflected has a tendency to naturalism,it pays attention to the harmony of man and nature and it conforms to the principle of sustainability in the modern landscape design.In the practice of modern landscape design,it is not difficult to find some spaces and layouts that are in accordance with the traditional Chinese fengshui thoughts and concepts.The characteristics of these spaces are consistent with the ecological views and aesthetic preferences with systematic thinking and phenomenological characteristics produced by Chinese fengshui thoughts in the context of agricultural civilization.The aim of this study is based on the kernel of the Chinese traditional fengshui thought,to deeply analyze on the scientific nature and the compatible part of fengshui thought,and then apply this kind of thought as a kind of ecological and cultural fusion method to the modern landscape design by combining with the practice of modern landscape design,which can supplement the modern landscape design method and make it more suitable for the demand to the development of contemporary landscape design.This paper starts with the Chinese traditional fengshui thought formed by traditional landscape space,analyzes the relationship between the typical spatial pattern and modern landscape design,and finally explores and enriches the strategies and methods of landscape space design.Through literature research,this paper analyzes and extracts the core of traditional fengshui thought and its empirical application,and explores the theories and thoughts that can be applied to modern landscape design.This thesis takes the demand of modern landscape design application as the guide,combining modern landscape ecology theory,sustainable development theory,human settlement environment theory,system theoryand aesthetic theory,it discusses from the cultural and aesthetic level and landscape ecological level one by one,and concluds the application the natural forms including intentionality,moral expression profiling,the folk custom application and the color in modern applications.For example,in terms of ecological issues,the application strategy of traditional fengshui thought in modern landscape design is interpreted from the perspectives of the difference between eastern and western thinking,the systematicness of landscape ecological problems,and the landscape ecological approach of fengshui "qi".In terms of microtopography and landscape microclimate,we can obtain the application strategy of microtopography and plant morphology method in modern landscape design by combining with computer simulation analysis.In terms of spatial sequence and layout,we can study the multi-layer enclosed spatial processing method and the design strategies such as the view point transformation and narrative technique reflected by the typical spatial pattern formed under the guidance of fengshui thought.This paper analyzes the application of traditional fengshui thought in modern landscape design through practical demonstration of several cases.By means of induction,summary,questionnaire survey,data analysis and comprehensive evaluation,the practical effect is evaluated,which plays a positive role in the research and practice of landscape design methodology.
