The Research On The Evolution Of Performing Architecture In Shenzhen

In the global talent mobility and competition,successful cities are that can offer rich cultural life and provide a variety of opportunities for artists and creative people to meet and contact.In a sense,the quantity and quality of performing architecture are closely related to urban competitiveness and cultural vitality.Since China’s reform and opening up 40 years ago,the economic boom and influx of mass immigrants in Shenzhen have made growing demand of resident for cultural and spiritual consumption.In the context of Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area in recent years,Shenzhen has a higher city positioning of “Global Regional Cultural Center City” and “International Cultural Innovation and Creative Pioneer City”.So a large number of high-level cultural facilities are under construction.As one of the most important cultural facilities,performing architecture carries the city’s performance culture dream and is also the business card of city image.Therefore,it is particularly necessary and urgent to investigate the “ quantity” and “ quality” of performing architecture in Shenzhen over the years.Summarizing the shortcomings from historical experience can better understand present statement,then looking to the future.Taking time as the axis,this paper analyzes the whole process of performing architecture’ evolution in Shenzhen from a historical perspective.The article is divided into five chapters.The first chapter introduces the research background and significance,domestic and foreign status,object and innovation points of this paper,research method and framework.The second chapter firstly summarizes the development of modern and contemporary performing architecture in China,having a certain understanding of them.Then according to the collected examples in chronological order of completed and ongoing performing architecture in Shenzhen,this paper introduces a brief situation and statistics on different scales and types of performing architecture in three periods The third chapter is a detailed discussion about performing architecture’ distribution in city under the influence of configuration standard in cultural facilities and structure of urban space layout in three periods.The fourth chapter provides an in-depth analysis of performing architecture’ functional composition,spatial layout mode and organization method of internal and external space in different period.In final chapter,this paper summarizes performing architecture’ evolution in Shenzhen by vertical comparison of previous contents,pointing out shortcomings and making some proposals referring foreign case It is hoped that this research will offer some reference value for the future performing architecture design in Shenzhen.
