Cultural Space Expression Study On The Small-town Planning And Design In Hebei Province

Small towns play a vital role in the development of urbanization,which also act as an important link between cities and villages.With the rapid development of urbanization in China,the planning and development of small towns has received more attention.Culture is not only a resource of small towns,but also the soul and connotation of small towns.The expression of cultural space in small towns integrates cultural resources through space carriers,which helps to highlight the characteristics of small towns,improve the sense of identity and belongings of residents.Based on this,the paper starts from the analysis of the planning,cultural space expression status and development trend,and additionally integrates the cultural characteristics and elements of cultural resources into space through space carriers,so as to achieve the goal of long-term and healthy development of small towns eventually.Combining with the existing problems,and special geographical location and cultural characteristics of Hebei Province,this paper puts forward relevant strategies of cultural space expression in planning and design of small towns.Based on the analysis of the current and related theories at home and abroad,this paper finds that the relatively weak expression of cultural space and deficient urban design in small towns.Referring to the predecessors,this paper explores the key issues of cultural space expression in the planning and design,puts forward corresponding countermeasures to provide theoretical basis for the follow-up development of small towns.The research methods adopted in this paper include literature review,field investigation,theoretical analysis and empirical research,and fully collect the literature on the expression of cultural space in small towns.Through a large number of documents in the early stage,the research direction and main ideas of this topic are determined,combining with the existing advantages and disadvantages of cultural expression of small towns in Hebei Province,In the process of investigation and research,we find the key points of the problem,and practical solutions to the them.This paper focuses on the construction of cultural space system of small towns in Hebei Province.Through the research,the paper receives contents of present situation and problems of cultural space expression in planning and design of small towns in Hebei Province.Through analysis on the advantages and disadvantages of cultural space expression of small towns in Hebei Province,it is found that they have the characteristics of duality of urban andrural culture,rich history and culture,unique local culture and various carriers of cultural space.At the same time,they also have some weaknesses: cultural development lagging behind economic development,unclear cultural features,vague cultural themes,insufficient integration of cultural resources and cultural expression of small towns,the shortage of space structure fracture.Starting from the integration of cultural resources,this paper expounds the principles and objectives of shaping cultural space,and analyses the attributes of cultural space.It can be seen that cultural space is a spatial system with multiple attributes.This paper summarizes the structure of cultural space and its four organizational forms: cultural scatter,cultural axis,cultural circle and cultural region,which constitute the cultural space field of towns and constitute the theoretical framework of cultural space of small towns.Through a series of studies,the paper obtains the suitable countermeasures to cultural space expression for the planning and design of small towns in Hebei Province.Firstly,it combs the overall spatial structure by sorting out the context,the public space and continuing the texture of small towns.Secondly,it fully excavates the cultural symbols of small towns and then determines the integration method of cultural resources.There are macro and micro aspects of specific countermeasures: macro strategy focuses on the overall spatial layout and overall style of small towns,expressing the expression of cultural space at the planning level;micro strategy focuses on the construction of buildings,squares,streets and landscape in small towns,and expresses the shaping of cultural space at the design level.It is hoped that the above research will be helpful to the planning and design of cultural space in modern small towns.
