Here comes a trend of convergencce in many cities due to the globalization,urban landscape is the carrier of abstract atmosphere like cultural spirit.For the similarities of cities in China,the orientation of urban landscape value and its implementing measures becomes a hot topic in academic circles.Panzhihua,a resource-oriented industrial city,which built in modern cities,its urban culture and acknowlegement of urban landscape value are distinguished obviously from the other cities.Thus,the demand of theory and the expansion are existed potentially in R&D of landscape.Focus on the urban landscape in indusrtal cities to excavate a deeper theory perspectiive and analyzing the inheritage and regeneration adout urban landscape is the core content of this thesis.By reviewing the relative researches about urban landscape,taking the purpose of its inheritage and regeneration as principle and summarising experience to establish a relevant perspective about "landscape","historical background" and "cultural characteristics" of cities is the research direction of this thesis.Based on the above-mentioned,taking the historical background,the planning and the construction of Panzhihua as important venation to tease out thr process of construction and development completely.Whereafter,deconstructing the urban landscape in Panzhihua City,detailedly analyzing its constitute forms.From the perspective of relation between urban culture and landscape,comparing it with Panzhihua`s urban landscape,integrating the current situation and problems of urban landscape systematically.As the guidence of problems,combining with further research of investigation,and establishing the theory that the selection and construction of landscape is guieded by the age values.Getting rid of landscape science restriction,carring out the research about domestic demand of humanity and counter-contradiction of economic development to reveal what leads to current convergence situation and brokenconnection of landscape is the different choices amont government,developers and the public.The key to discover inheritage and regeneration of landscape is the integral contral of surface characteristics,value inernal causes and time preciptation.Digging out Panzhihua-style urban landscape resources and trying to table some optimized suggestions,uder the guidence of previous research results and professional knowledge.
