Design And Application Of Remote Operating System For Relay Protection Equipment

Relay protection equipment is an important line of defense to ensure the safe operation of the power grid.With the "integration of Beijing,Tianjin and Hebei",the economic growth momentum in Xingtai region is strong,the demand for electric power is in short supply,and the power grid scale has doubled in the past decade.The rapid growth of power grid scale leads to rapid changes in the short circuit level of the system,frequent adjustment of power grid modes,a large increase in the operation times of relay protection equipment,and the current local operation mode limits the development of regulation integration.Faced with the increasing pressure of local operation of relay protection equipment,the development trend is gradually moving closer to remote operation.However,the current remote operation of relay protection equipment lacks unified and reliable protocols and models.The existing technical research is either scattered,without forming a system,or the existing system is greatly changed,which cannot meet the conditions for rapid and effective large-scale popularization.Based on the above reasons,this paper first thoroughly studies the research trends of relay protection remote operation at home and abroad,and determines the remote operation mode of relay protection based on smart grid dispatching integrated system.Through integrated data modeling,data browsing,operation control and other functions,the dispatching end user can remotely modify the protection setting,remote switching setting area and remote switching soft pressing plate for the controlled relay protection equipment through dispatching data network.The implementation and operation of the pilot substation have proved that the scheme designed in this paper is reliable and effective,and can bring rich social and economic benefits.
