Since the efficiency of mechanical transmission and electric drive is higher than hydraulic transmission,hydraulic transmission is standing a disadvantage in the market competition.With the rise of the secondary regulation system of constant pressure network,there is a concept of hydraulic transformer was proposed,as a secondary adjustment component in a hydraulic system,it not only can drive the load end,but also achieve energysaving control,and also can recover the energy at the load end.However,until now,the hydraulic transformers studied and applied at home and abroad still immature.Some question about difficulty in manufacturing,inconvenient control,limited pressure transformer still exist.In view of this,combined digital hydraulic transformer is introduced in this paper.It has a simple structure and easy to understand,combining the advantages of digital components and hydraulic transformers.Plurality of binary displacement pump/motor units to form a flow unit of digital hydraulic transformer,then,a plurality of electromagnetic onoff valves are formed into a digital control valve group to control and adjust the flow unit.This paper first designs the components of combined digital hydraulic transformer,and by using software to optimize the control mode of digital hydraulic transformer,an optimal control scheme has been obtained,then analyzes the flow loss inside of the flow unit to provide a basis for the next step to optimize the structure.A solution of hydraulic shock generated by the load end is proposed and simulated to verify the feasibility of this method.The experimental platform was built to test the transformer characteristics of digital hydraulic transformer under constant pressure network.By changing load and transformation ratio,to test working characteristics of digital hydraulic transformer under different working conditions.Further prove the feasibility and practicability of the principle of transformer transformation.
