Bridge construction plays an important role in the transportation infrastructure construction. At present, the construction of the bridges are realized through on-site casting and coagulation. In the present case, this kind of construction takes up a large number of existing roads and has adverse effects on the urban transportation in time and space and pollutes the urban environment. The post tensioned prefabricated pier structure has attracted wide attention because of its advantages of rapid construction, little impact on the existing traffic and environment, and low cost.At present, the post tensioned prefabricated pier structure is widely used in the non-strong earthquake area.Because of the lack of understanding of its seismic performance,it is seldom used in the strong earthquake area. Therefore, the seismic performance of the post tensioned prefabricated pier structure needs to be further studied,so as to establish the corresponding structural design and seismic design method. In view of the above situation, this paper refers to the latest research results of the post tensioned prefabricated pier structure at home and abroad, and puts forward two types of post tensioned prefabricated pier construction method with semi-rigid connection.Quasi-static test and finite element analysis method are used to study the seismic performance of the whole cast-in-place piers and the post tensioned prefabricated piers.A total of seven specimens are tested. The main contents of this paper are as follows:(1)This paper presents two types of the post tensioned prefabricated piers with different semi-rigid connections and quasi-static tests are carried out on these piers with different prestress.Hysteresis curves, residual displacements, failure forms, vertical distribution of curvature in the potential plastic hinge region and the opening and closing of the joints are obtained.(2)The finite element model of the piers proposed in this paper is established by using the finite element software ADINA and the numerical analysis of these models is carried out.The accuracy of the finite element model simulation is verified by comparison with the quasi-static test results.(3)In this paper,quasi-static tests of the specimens and the calculation results of the finite element model are analyzed from hysteresis curves, residual displacements, failure forms, vertical distribution of curvature in the potential plastic hinge area and the opening and closing of the pier joints and so on.(4)The nonlinear dynamic time history analysis of the post tensioned prefabricated piers established by the finite element software ADINA is carried out by choosing the appropriate seismic waves. It is proved that the post tensioned prefabricated piers with semi-rigid connections proposed in this paper have good seismic performance.
