Study On The Architecture Layout And Landscaping Techniques Of Sichuan Celebrity Memorial Gardens

Sichuan province has beautiful scenery and rich culture,many excellent classical gardens were born in the long history of Sichuan.These classical gardens are not only the crystallization of the history of Sichuan,but also the condensation of local cultural characteristics.Among them,there is a kind of garden called celebrity memorial garden,which becomes the most typical representative of Sichuan classical gardens because of its numerous quantity and prominent style.The architecture is an important element in celebrity memorial garden,it plays an important role in garden space organization and style construction.Unfortunately,there is not much research on architectures in Sichuan celebrity memorial gardens.Therefore,this study takes the architectural layout of Sichuan celebrity memorial garden as the research object,and selects several famous celebrity memorial gardens which are the most representative in Chengdu plain,through literature collation,field investigation,case analysis,graphic analysis and inductive deduction,the study analyses and concludes the location selection,orientation selection,layout characteristics,spatial characteristics and combination of other garden elements.Then summarizes the artistic features of the architectural layout and landscape creation techniques of Sichuan celebrity memorial gardens,in order to find out the methods suitable for the construction of modern regional landscape.The research and analysis of this thesis is divided into the following four parts:(1)Study on the characteristics of Architecture types in Sichuan Celebrity Memorial Gardens.In addition to the traditional classification of garden architecture according to the form,the architecture is classified into memorial buildings and scenic buildings through the functional features of buildings.Then subdivide the memorial buildings into single memorial building and memorial building group.And summarizes Sichuan celebrity memorial garden architecture style has the characteristics of folk residence.(2)Study on the location layout and landscape construction of memorial buildings in Sichuan celebrity gardens.This study classifies the memorial buildings in Sichuan celebrity gardens from the combination mode and the plane form,summarizes that the single memorial building is located in the key position of the garden,and there are no rigid rules of orientation selection of single memorial buildings.As for the memorial building group,the best orientation is the south,and located on the axis of the garden.Landscaping not only sets off the memorial atmosphere,but also subtly alleviates the serious atmosphere,increases the garden interest and forms a delicate balance.(3)Study on location layout and Landscape construction of scenic buildings in Sichuan celebrity memorial gardens.The thesis studies on the classification of scenic buildings in Sichuan celebrity memorial gardens according to their location,movement and function.Study find out that there is no fixed form and requirement in location and orientation of scenic buildings.Scenic buildings have more kinds than memorial buildings,and the location and layout is more flexible,and the techniques of spatial landscape creation are more diverse.,scenic buildings can be arranged in waterfront,in water,on rocks,beside rocks,etc.using a variety of landscaping techniques,combined with memorial buildings,create rich landscape levels and spatial feelings.(4)Study on the overall architectural layout and landscape features of Sichuan celebrity memorial gardens.Summarizes the overall architectural layout of Sichuan celebrity memorial garden is flexible and changeable,and the style of the garden is leisurely,elegant and simple and natural.(5)Study on reference significance of Sichuan celebrity memorial landscape architecture layout and landscape design to Modern regional landscape design.Take WangCong temple for example,renovate and redesign its garden,the general rules and characteristics of Sichuan celebrity memorial landscape architecture layout and techniques are integrated into the modern regional landscape construction,to prove the practical application.
